Denver has an incredibly active Goth scene, with something to do every night of the week! Denver’s historic music and arts culture, multiple universities, historic buildings, and beautiful natural Rocky Mountain environment create a vibrant ambience.

Transit is extremely easy, boasting the geographically largest airport in the USA. A light rail connects Denver International Airport to Downtown, with additional lines throughout the city bolstered by a robust bus system, as well as typical rideshare options and good old fashioned cabs.

Denver has a LOT to offer, and we are really looking forward to showing it off!

A note about altitude, substances, and safety

 

As you may have heard, Denver prides itself on being “The Mile High City”. That’s not a reference to our legal cannabis; Denver’s altitude is actually 5280 feet above sea level. We also boast 300 days of sunshine a year. Make sure you drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen.

Substances tend to have stronger effects when you are at a higher altitude than that to which your body is acclimated.

If you choose to avail yourself of any of our many fine local spirits, famously legal cannabis, or recently decriminalized psilocybin, start slow, pace yourself, see what effects it has on you, and move forward responsibly. Be safe and have fun!

In addition to the hours of programming and entertainment offered through Convergence, be sure to check out all that Denver and the surrounding area have to offer. Just remember to wear your Goth Strength sunscreen!

  • Outdoor Recreation & Easy access to the Rocky Mountains for hiking, camping, and stunning mountain scenery.
  • Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre: A world-renowned concert venue carved into natural red rock formations.

  • Denver Botanic Gardens: Beautiful gardens showcasing diverse plant life. 

  • City Park: Large urban park with a zoo, museum of nature and science, and recreational areas. 

  • Denver Art Museum with a diverse collection of art. 

  • Meow Wolf Denver – current installation conveniently named “Convergence Station”

  • Dining Scene: Variety of restaurants with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Denver is a health-oriented city with good food catering to a variety of diets and preferences. There are also many local breweries and distilleries to try and tour.
