Gothic Security Team

Room A (Georgetown) | Saturday | 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm

The Gothic Security Team (GST) is a civilian-led organization formed to protect alternative subcultures, creative spaces, and community events from the threats of far-right extremism, hate speech, and violence. Grounded in the principles of mutual aid, solidarity, and inclusivity, GST provides a framework for community defense that values safety, accountability, and collective action. The team operates with transparency, ensuring it remains a protective force rather than an authoritarian one. GST celebrates the subculture while providing protection and de-escalation to goth and queer events. Volunteers proudly provide safety and medical services at protests, marches, and political actions.
